Montana`s Rib and Chop House in Billings

Always a great meal, cooked to perfection.

I absolutely loved this place. The service was great and the food was perfect. Try the t-bone pork chop, it was awesome.

I was visiting in town and went here based on the recommendation of hotel staff. Our waitress was very kind and my son loved the fact he could draw on the paper table cloth. I ordered a chicken sandwich and while it did taste good I realized it was raw throughout a portion of it. The server took it back immediately and the manager did come out. They apologized profusely and offered to get me anything else but my appetite was gone, for obvious reasons. They also comped my chicken sandwich (which was the right thing to do). The rest of the family enjoyed their meals and my sons popcorn shrimp meal came with an astounding amount of shrimp! Other members in my family got the ribs and clam chowder. They both were said to be delicious. As good as they said their food was I won't be back. Raw chicken is a hard thing to overcome.

Food was surprisingly good and the service friendly and competent if a little slow. Very much enjoyed the street fight red from local brewery Angry Hank's served up good and cold!

This is always a great place to eat. Great meats, great sides. Loved the cars for kids plates.

Best place I've been to so far on my vacation. Their food is amazing and the service is on point and super professional!! A must if you want great food and friendly service!

Such great service! Our server got us to try things we normally wouldn't. She was very experienced and fun to work with! We have never had a bad meal here. Fair warning tho, they are very busy on weekends. I recommend making reservations if you do not want to wait. We were lucky and got a table very quickly in the bar. Still a great experience!

bartender Jen made a drink that wasn't even on the menu and was spot-on! She did a fabulous job! And Chef Ryan was even willing to sub a few things on our order to make sure that we were completely happy with what we got! And our server Rhonda was second to none! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had to give it 5 more stars. Conveniently located next to our favorite hotel, Big Horn Resort, in Billings, MT. Excellent menu choices, great list of craft beers, and drink menu. Servers are attentive and go out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. Highly recommend my Military Veteran brothers and sisters throw your support to this great restaurant. So much on the menu to try. If you’re a Baby Back Rib lover, I recommend. Come hungry. Great place for the whole family whether you’re ima casual outing or looking for a more formal dining experience, this place can accommodate.

Steak was great pricing was a little higher than expected, I'm from out of town so rates may be higher in this area.

Clean and quiet atmosphere. The food was so good, I will have to travel back to Washington state, and put this place's ribs on the bucket list. The service was fast and professional. The food was fresh and to temp. (Hot stuff hot, Cold stuff cold) Their steak choices make me want to move nearby. Montana's Rib and Chop House has everything so right.p.s1000% bet The Unicorns willingly provide the tears for every recipe.

Love this place! I always order their calamari as an appetizer. There steaks are sizzling when they come to your table and I have never felt rushed to eat and get out. A go to when I and wife want a great steak and date night.

This place is phenomenal. The food is exquisite, wait staff are friendly and attentive. I had fillet mignon, one of the best meals I have ever eaten!

Can't give half-stars, and would have liked to give a 3.5 or so, but closer to 3 then 4, so 3 stars it is. Kinda loud, a bit grubby/sticky. Steaks were above average but not super memorable compared to other places in/around Billings, much less outside the city/state. Sides were average at best. Service was good. Didn't seem like the most romantic place, or conducive to visiting/talking with others in the party, due to bar/feedlot (sorry, can't think of a more charitable way to put it at this moment) atmosphere. Felt a bit over-rated to us.

Great food and nice quiet atmosphere. Perfect for date night.

Came here for a honeymoon. Great service and amazing food all around! Food was well made and much of the meal was from scratch! Pasta was a tad oily but otherwise great

My family had a delicious meal here where it seemed like we sampled some of everything. The kids meals in the cardboard car dishes are adorable. Great drinks (ask for a beer flight if you can’t choose one). The Satin Pie sounds like Satan Pie for good reason and should probably be renamed; just let the devil win this round and worry about salvation later.

I rarely give 5 stars. This place is awesome. We came with young kids. They had a kids menu and food came in an animal shaped car. Kids also got apples with yogurt before we ordered. Food was outstanding, blended margarita was strong, place was clean and staff was friendly and excellent.

The loaded baked potato alone is a meal. It was huge! Topped with butter, sour cream, chives, and bacon. The salmon was nicely seasoned and served on a cedar plank. The pork was very undercooked. We sent it back noticed a diner at another table doing the same. We were there on a busy Saturday night--every table was full and there was a wait. Great service. Its not a good place for a date but you can easily take the family for a casual dinner out or celebration with a large party. Hang out at the bar with friends and watch the game.

Finally a great steak. Medium to small lunch special. Perfect flavor. Great service. Just traveling through. Worth a stop.

Very friendly service! I would definitely go back when in the area. Food was delicious. I ordered steak and was cooked to perfectly. Asparagus was awesome. Portions were just right. Even though it was very busy the service was great and quick.

A favorite of mine, especially when friends are in town. Some of the best cuts of meat to be had are here! Definitely a must.

First off this restaurant is AWESOME. Excellent food, great prices. Rhonda was our server, she went above and beyond. So friendly, attentive to all our requests. We stayed for an hour and a half and enjoyed every minute of our time there. Same type of service and great food in Butte Montana Wish they would open a restaurant in our town, if they did I would eat their once a week. Would recommend this place to all who are traveling to and area where this restaurant is located.

This is the best steak I have had in the last year. I did not take a photo of the steak, but I did see a cool picture of a little kid in a cowboy outfit, so I drew him. Not my best work, unlike my steak which was someones best work. I highly recommend this place to get a steak.

Service was excellent, food was pretty good, only complaint, people we sat next to. Extremely annoying.

We hit without reservations on a Saturday evening. Our party of 6 sat at the bar, and were treated very well. Service and everyone's food was excellent. We had a good time.

Very nice place to eat. Food is delicious. Waitstaff friendly and articulate. I loved the Bison steak. The Ribeye is also fantastic. Love to eat here when I am in town.

Great customer services...some of the best. 3 stars....Hand cut rib eye for $32 better be the best rib eye I have ever ate. NO Way. I would recommend ordering under your normal cooking temperature. They bring the steak out on a plate, that plate is so hot it still cooks the steak. As a matter of fact my steak was pink on the top half and well done on the bottom half, again it better be the best I have ever had and they fell short for me. This place is top notch for sure and I so bad wanted to go 5 stars but I can't because of the steak. Mushrooms tasted fresh along with the spinage. I sat at the bar and the crew on staff that night was on point.

I stopped.in tonight with business partner they have slipped. Use to be the best. Order large tap beer got 12oz and no option to fix. Order 2 steak dinners received meals no soup or salad. This was a place that never missed but must be going thru tough times.

Visiting from Los Angeles's for work and was recommended this place and the fried green tomatoes. I've never had them before but these were GREAT!!! In fact I ate so many that I left no room got the jambalaya which was an easy two serving full(very large portion). In LA I would expect to pay at least$50 for this meal so the$35 tab was well above worth it for this meal. Never had a bad meal here. It's our favorite steakhouse

I've been all over the country and to many parts of the world, so I was a tiny bit sceptical when Brea suggested that the pork chop was THE best. Well, I am one of these people that can admit when they are wrong. Their pork chop is THE best! And Brea was among the best waitperson, I have ever had.

Service was very good, food was not. Hand cut rib eye was one third fat. Salad thrown together slightly wilted not fresh. Home made blue cheese dressing very good. No bread offered for table. Steak was also very over salted, we ordered rare and cooked rite. I would not go back, it’s another chain restaurant that probably went down hill when they got bought out by the investors. Not sure how they are getting five stars. I was looking for something unique while in Montana where beef cattle rein, it’s not here.
